Loupe is a Chrome browser extension that lets you drag-select any region of your screen and analyze it with AI. It runs entirely in your browser and sends only the selected region to a vision-grade AI API for analysis. By installing or using Loupe, you agree to these terms.
Terms of use.
These terms describe the rules for using Loupe — what you can do, what we promise (and don’t), and how billing works. By installing the extension you’re saying you read and agree to all of this.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Loupe. If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf.
Loupe is provided to individual users for personal or business use. Reselling, white-labeling, or redistributing the extension without written permission is not permitted.
- Free — 10 analyses per day. Resets at local midnight. No card required. Subject to fair-use limits.
- Pro Monthly —
$9.99USD per month. Unlimited analyses, full GPT-5.4 reasoning model, priority queue. - Pro Yearly —
$77.99USD per year. Same as Pro Monthly, billed once a year. Save ~35%. - Prices may change. Existing subscriptions keep their original rate until renewal. New rates apply on next billing cycle.
Pro subscriptions are processed through ExtensionPay (a Stripe-based payment platform). You can cancel anytime from the extension popup → Account → Manage subscription.
Refunds: we offer a no-questions-asked refund within 14 days of your first purchase. After that, cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current period.
You agree NOT to use Loupe to:
- Analyze content you don’t have the right to view (private data, copyrighted material without permission, etc.).
- Bypass paywalls, captchas, or other security mechanisms on websites.
- Generate harmful, illegal, harassing, or otherwise abusive content via the AI.
- Reverse-engineer the extension, scrape its internal APIs, or attempt to extract our API keys.
- Run automated scripts that drive the extension to bypass the quota system.
Violation may result in subscription termination without refund and removal of API access.
Loupe is powered by AI vision models that can make mistakes, hallucinate values, or misinterpret images. AI output is provided as-is and should not be relied on for critical decisions (medical, legal, financial, safety-related). Always verify important results independently. We are not liable for decisions made based on Loupe’s output.
The screenshots you analyze and the prompts you write remain yours. We don’t claim any rights to your inputs or to the AI output generated from them. See the Privacy page for details on how that data flows.
We aim for 99% uptime on the AI vision API but make no formal SLA guarantee. Service may be temporarily interrupted for maintenance, upstream provider issues (Azure / OpenAI), or unexpected demand. If an outage prevents you from using your Pro subscription for an extended period, contact us for credit.
Loupe is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We don’t guarantee the extension is error-free, secure against all attacks, or fit for any particular purpose beyond what’s described in the Chrome Web Store listing.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of Loupe is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $0 if you use the Free tier). We’re not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
If we materially change these terms, the “Last updated” date above changes and we’ll note it in the extension’s update notes on the Chrome Web Store. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
